About Me

Hello, I’m Kathryn Kopp, LCSW

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that healing is possible, even in the face of profound grief, unexpected change, or overwhelming circumstances.

Many of my clients are navigating a significant life transition or loss, such as the death of a loved one, adjustment to college life, the end of a relationship, empty nest phase, or challenges related to aging. They’re grappling with feelings of uncertainty, loss of identity, or diminished confidence as they work to redefine their sense of self, rebuild a sense of purpose, and gain clarity for the future.

I take a warm and empathetic approach, and rely on building a genuinely meaningful therapeutic relationship valuing authenticity, respect, and compassion. Together we will create a safe space for you to explore your identity, relationships, and past experiences to better understand what aspects may be causing distress and how we can use them to shape a more fulfilling life. I make sure we have regular check-ins to see if the approach we’re using is still working for you and make necessary adjustments to help you reach your goals.

Therapy is a collaborative and dynamic process that encourages clients to tap into their strengths and resilience, especially during challenging times. Through a combination of evidence-based techniques and personalized support I am here to provide support and guidance to you during this difficult time.
